Who is this girl?

Aloha, I am Stacie, a foodie who bakes, turned passion to business, studying nutrition science and now exploring the science behind of food.

StacieDaFoodie is a space for me to share my curiosity and explore happiness of food bring to us (human being i meant).

Here we can explore the world and chemistry of food. Documenting every little substances I found that affect our food choice, either is flavor, nutrition, craving or mood, recipes and what's "food-trend" actually brings to us. I have interview interdisciplinary peers and experts relates with food, studied in academia of nutrition to find out bits and bobs around food to health.

Lessons that I have learned in the past four years of nutrition science bachelor degree.

For non-nutrition major students. Here I explained what school taught me during my 4 years of nutrition studies. Did I solved the problem that I first have while applying to study nutrition? Mostly yes.

Human science, mind health, food selection, etc......

After graduation, I left a blank thinking I need to share the output from my input. The motivation that drove me to nutrition study was to loss weight and understanding human body. When i come to the end, I wish I could help people in need, and here I share everything I have learned in BS of Nutritional Science. I am not an expert and I will still be learning.

A short story about Creaming.Patisserie

I decided to step out of my comfort zone and actually start taking orders (customized occasion cakes), 90% birthday cakes and 10% festivals.

It all started in 2020 (Pandemic year)
I received so much from the community

Started with only an intention of " 4 months trials" of taking orders because I knew I would have to leave the country and study abroad again, ended up extended to a year long success with a result of more than 200 cakes presented out from 126sq ft kitchen.
