5 years ago, before i seriously start studying nutrition (i meant getting grades and scientific proved learning), I would be ashamed by what i eat would gain my body weight. Not drinking water for the whole day believing that the next day scale will dropped. Buying thousand of dollar lose weight/burning fat products, using serene wrap to wrap my thigh in order to burn my body fat.
That was kind of strategic i thought will lead me to my goal.
Of course nothing success but lesson bought.
Today, I trust nothing than self love.
There is nothing to prove to the world of diet culture, but the love of eating is not cruel.
none of us should be living in fear at every bite,
and the supposedly "better for you" food is not always what we look for.
not the bite of rough kale,
nor always the uncook carrots.
I am more craving like, Japanese ramen and sushi, Filipino chicken adobo and Korean pancake, Jamaican rice bowl and sometimes Belgium waffle.
if there are Blue zone longevity, Mediterranean diet, Okinawa shoutout, there should be Filipino Feast, Chinese remedy, and Jamaican health-way.
Food is a way we get energy and good feeling,
but taste is cherry on top for us modern people now to justify if we are going to have that good day.
